4K and 8K resolutions: better than 1080p

A year ago, the best resolution in HDTV was 1080p (1920 x 1080), 1920 horizontal pixels, and 1080 vertical pixels.


Now, there are 2 new resolutions: 4k and 8k:

The first (4k) has four times 1080p resolution, the equivalent to 4096 x 2160 appointing to 2160p


And the comparison:



And, second, the best definition actually, the 8k, that is four times 4k, and eight times 1080p.
8K is UHDTV (4320p), and it is: 7680 × 4320 pixels.
